Re: Cthulhu VST
A little bit of thread necro, but has anyone gotten Cthulhu to work with an external synth MIDI track? I can't figure out if I just don't have the routing correct, or what. Ableton's built-in arp plays fine...

Re: Get Retina Support in Ableton Live 9
I wish they'd make all the devs work on the new 4K monitors -- that would get this shit fixed promptly.

Re: Why is there so little love for musicians with Android gear?
Latency + infinite hardware/software configs + demonstrated unwillingness (as compared to iOS) of users to actually pay real monies for something.

Re: Update LIVE 9 for RETINA !!!
Who? Ableton? They didn't say shit. The ZBrush guy acknowledged that there would be some tricky bits, and that it would probably be rolled out in a version upgrade rather than a point release. Honestly, even if they never do it, at least they had the courtesy to talk to a long-time customer (and to ...

Re: Update LIVE 9 for RETINA !!!
I've opened up this same conversation with the guys at ZBrush. What a difference from Ableton. While nobody is promising anything, I've been in regular email contact with two of the ZBrush devs and they've started active discussions around the re-scaling process with the team. Ableton has ignored th...

Re: Update LIVE 9 for RETINA !!!
The other thread wasn't quite right. You can change the resolution to mimic non retina resolutions, but scales the graphics when you do so. So you might be able to get rid of the fuzziness people see here, but at the expense of all the graphics being twice as big, including your mouse pointer. Exac...

The disappointment in my soul that you were trolling can only be warmed by the bonfire created by setting you alight, preferably on the top of a hill of old tires.ino-01 wrote:Thank you for Retina-Support in 9.2, Ableton.

Well, they added dual monitor, so I have some faint hopes they'll address this soon as well...

Re: Ableton 9.1 Dual Monitor Support + more
As a long-time bitcher about single monitor, let me say a heap of "thanks" with a sprinkling of "about freaking time".
Add retina support so I can actually *see* the damn thing and we're perfect!

Re: What is this sound effect and how is it done?
The technical term for that is a "glissando". It sounds to me like some kind of bell patch (FM8 maybe?) with some echo.

Re: tea drinkers
I'm an Upton Tea junkie in addition to my coffee habit. I tend to like mostly black teas, often with flavors. Upton's Cranberry Black is my current favorite, followed by their Mango Indica. On the decaf side, they have a great Earl Grey, as well as Apricot and Blackcurrant.

Re: Analogue Synth Reccomendations
You may want to save a little longer and grab a Minibrute or a Dark Energy. Or build an MFOS Soundlab II.
