Re: General PC Advice - Drive Partitions
Just to reiterate what everyone else has said, keep Windows 7. I have Win7x64 on my desktop and 1 laptop and x86 on another laptop, and I have had fewer crashes and better performance on them than I ever had on XP.

Re: Launchpad : tips n tricks, ideas, suggestions
I've got a suggestion. If you can globally change the pitch of any sample pressed on the launchpad surface with a bcr2000 encoder as the pitch controller it might be helpful to be able to map a cc button to press that then reverts that sample pressed by the launchpad surface back to the correct pitc...

Re: Master global default button???
WTF nothing??????????
Seriously no takers here even from the hardcore users.
Does this lead me to believe you cannot do this???
Something as elementary as this!!!!!!!!!!!.
Where else can find out if this can be done.
Obviously the ableton forums are not the place.

Re: Master global default button???
Thanks for the responce. No the cc msg is only relative to individual samples pressed or activated by the launchpad, which why its so cool. I just want to have the same global pitch deault control that just resets the sample activated. Seems really simple. Is it possible to macro the pitch control th...

Re: Controlling Reason Parameters with APC40
I tried this way but I'm having a lot of trouble with the macro editing of live. But because my kung fu is superior in reason I mapped all the changes via combinators for synth and effects in reason.I then mapped all the controllers in reason(not through ableton). I did this only to use the session ...

Master global default button???
Hi albtoner's A very simple problem so it seemed a while ago. I use reason/record and have just migrated all my song data to live. Now I like the idea That if you map a pitch of a sample to my bcr2000 controller any sample you press on the session veiw in the novation launchpad can be pitched. In fa...

Re: Launchpad programming, LED feedback - Confusion!
If you want the template to remain global you will have to program the automap editor. Building up different templates for your launchpad manually. I struggled for a while then went back to programming using reason through the session veiw as you would ableton. I got so frustated I contacted novatio...

Re: Launchpad here we go!!!!
The Lauchpad is all about seeing your clips in a light or darkended area, It's a visual representation with instant feedback. It rocks enough for me to buy, install live launchpad edition, realise live is a lot more awesome than it's no4 incarnate, buy live 8,Start ripping loops off my reason 2,3,4 son...
