In fact, support for Scala/Tun oblige you to reprogram all MIDI devices...because it got to be internal, or transmitted in a non MIDI way (like inside a M4L patch). I've tried your IR LED + Wiimote trick on Usine : works like a charm :wink: Nocturn + Guille script show you 8 clips status too ;) And you can launch them of course, and change their offset columns/rows :lol: But i second fx23 : Usine is very good with any DAW, especially Ableton with OSC ...

As it works remotely (thanks OSC), i think you can buy a cheap windows 7 tablet just to put Usine (it is light) and keep your Mac for Ableton

My ideal cheap conf for production :

Nocturn + guille script
Nanokontrol + myr script
LPD8 (not nanopad, fragile)

And of course a keyboard

You don't get all the features, but you get enough for production and even portability
