I've got clicks problems with audio in the next conditions:
64 bytes buffer - cpu load > 40%
128 bytes buffer - cpu load > 70%
1024 bytes buffer - cpu load >90%
My system is Centrino 1.4, 700 Mb, Echo Audiofire 8, Ableton 5, WinXPSP2
The most important thing in WinXP tuning is set Control Panel ...

If you are ready for additional firewire specific ASIO latency bias (up to +7 mc in addition to buffer size related latency) then the any good firewire device is the good choice (Audiofile looks to be good). But if the latency is too critical for you I would recommend looking at cardbus interfaces ...

I got a small problem with my Evolution midi-keyboard - pitch wheel sometimes generates random midi-events and I would like to filter them off. I can easy perform it within Cubase by internal midi-filter, but I cannot find something like that in Ableton... :( moreover there are no ableton ...
