Looks great.
You already have non-diatonic scales on your list - that was the only thing I could think of off the top of my head.
Most beginner types would probably want the major and minor pentatonic.
You could add arpeggios too - that would be handy.
But not complaining - it looks very good!

Re: Who thinks their music is original?
I think we're original. Everyone comes up with something different when they try to tell us what we sound like, and we don't really sound like any of those things, so that's got to mean something.

Re: Why Make music?
When I was 14, I listened to lot of Eric Clapton, his older stuff where everybody called him god. I never understood that ... Sure he was enjoyable listening, but "god" ? On my way back from school I always thought up elaborate guitar solos of my own, to kill the long walk home. These sol...

I have a Sony M10 and love it. Sounds great, solid, batteries seem to last forever, easy to use.

Re: Live 8 packs
No, it's in the default location. I haven't done anything to it. I initially installed 8 off the DVDs, then I upgraded to 8.1, then 8.2. That's it. I didn't customize anything except the location of my vst folder.

Re: Live 8 packs
I did. I installed everything from the DVDs. But when I upgraded to 8.1 (and now 8.2) I seem to have lost some of it.
Can I just reinstall from the DVDs? Or would that mess up the library/versions?

Re: Live 8 packs
I have Live installed on my main computer and on my laptop. My laptop seems to be missing Library files. I copied a Live Set from the main computer to the laptop. It tells me I have missing media files. These files are in the Session Drums - British Vintage kit. (this happens with other sets too and...

Re: Guitar Player top effects pedal roundup
The Big Muff. The Little Big Muff, in particular. The Big Muff is still the best distortion (fuzz, I know) I've ever owned. And it's cheap. You can spend $70 and get something great, or triple that price and get something similar. Someone mentioned Red Witch pedals. The Famulus is a great distortion...

Re: Guitar Tuner in Live or Free-Plug-in?
Live emits a 440Hz Tone that you can change. If you know the frequency of notes then you can change them and use it as a tuner (Diapason-Like) http://www.phy.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/jw/notes.html Or, if you're doing it by ear anyway, you could just set up a clip an...

Great show - it got worse when Cory and Trevor left though. Apparently there is one more movie to come, and that's the end.
