I work with a lot of groups and groups within groups; in my current project around 15% of the vertical real estate in arranger is empty due to groups with lots of stuff in them. It's annoying and contributes to the scroll fatigue that is already quite prevalent in Live.

Re: Automatic plugin migration (VST2 > VST3)
+1 for this...
Just migrated from intel to M2 and 100% of my Ableton projects over the last 12 years won't play back correctly due to Ableton not automatically loading VST3 versions of VST2 plugins.

Ableton bounces master channel incorrectly when audio has splits and bpm has envelope automation
Ableton bounces master channel incorrectly when you have one long audio track that you've made various splits to, and you have automation on the bpm on the master channel. To reproduce: load a long audio file into session view (like 2+ minutes long) duplicate track pan each track hard L/R create env...

Re: "...could not be read. it may be corrupt or not licensed."
I arbitrarily changed the location of my decoding cache and it seems to be working fine now. ???

Re: "...could not be read. it may be corrupt or not licensed."
I just updated to 8.1.5.
A few files that were not being loaded in 8.1.3, but now files that were loading in 8.1.3 are not loading in 8.1.5 (same error).
Any advice??

"...could not be read. it may be corrupt or not licensed."
"[files] could not be read. it may be corrupt or not licensed." I suddenly started getting this message for certain files. mp3s, wavs, doesn't matter - Live is simply refusing to load some files. Very random, has never happened before, and it does so even for some files that already have ....

Warp Markers all gone... please help
I searched through this forum's threads and found a few discussions but no solutions. I reformatted my drive and put all my mp3s + asds + Live 8.1.3 back on, and most of my songs do not load with their warp markers anymore. How can I fix this? This happens on random occasions too; it's happened a fe...

Re: Stop Live from installing Rewire on Launch
Sometimes when I'm working in Logic I'll need to quickly chop something up, timestretch a sample, or try different arrangements of a logic render in Live. I don't want Live to be a slave in that scenario.

Re: Stop Live from installing Rewire on Launch
Yeah I'm having the exact same problem. Live's Log acknowledges that the ReWireSlaveOff but it still runs in Slave mode anyway.
Any fixes????
Live 8.0.9
Incidentally, Live 8.1 does work with ReWireSlaveOff, but I can't use it since it crashes on my project file.
