Re: Live 9 Suite Trial - Where are the New M4L Devices
Ahh, yes, I've tried that multiple times, logged in and logged out. But I never see it. I think it must only be available to purchasers of Live 9 Suite and not available to try out with the Live 9 Suite Trial/Demo. Even though Ableton describes the Trial version as Fully Featured, I guess its not. T...

Re: Live 9 Pricing
Put me on the list of "entitled, spoiled whiners". I bought two licenses to Live 8 Suite + M4L so that my friend and I could use the Share feature. Am I "entitled" to the features I already paid for three years ago? Guess not. After this pricing slap in the face, I wouldnt buy Li...

Re: hmmmmm Apc40
Just went down to Best Buy and picked up a cheap M-audio Fasttrack USB Audio interface that does not have Midi ports. Installed the Asio drivers and it runs flawlessly with the APC 40. No glitches, hiccups at the lowest available latency (5 ms output latency). So, perhaps there is something to next'...

Re: hmmmmm Apc40
next, I've suspected that the midi ports on my Aardvark Q10 could be related to the problem. I'll bet you're right but cant test it myself. I was going to return the APC 40 yesterday but the GC guy offered to exchange. So I did just to see if maybe I had a bad unit. But as I figured, the new APC 40 ...

Re: Looper Help please - a video tutorial anyone????
After much toiling I discovered if use Bome's Midi Translator to translate the footpedal to a Key Command instead of a MIDI message that it works fine. Dont know if this will work for all. I'm using Digitech Control 8, in Patch Change mode, translating the patch change message to a key command (the ...

Re: Looper Help please - a video tutorial anyone????
same problem here. Have tried various configs with diff footswitches, etc. And funny... if I run the footswitch thru Bome's Midi Translator and set it up to output a Midi note instead of a CC message I get the same wacky, buggy operation. But if I assign a Midi note from a keyboard or even the APC c...

Re: hmmmmm Apc40
pbajzek, Yeah, after running the Korg tool to remove unused midi drivers it seems like I'm able to set my latency just a little lower than before. But its still not low enough for me. Thanks for chiming in on this issue. I really hope the Abes find a solution because otherwise I love this tool. djwa...

Re: hmmmmm Apc40
It seems to me there is definitely a design flaw in the device and/or the software that talks to it. I've tried on two very different machines in different configurations and the APC causes pops and clicks on both. After much troubleshooting I can only conclude that there is something about the comm...

dunc,
I want to give it a try but I dont see the software you speak of Korg's site. Do I download the Editor program or the USB-Midi drivers or something else? Thanks for the help.

Re: hmmmmm Apc40
Hooked up a USB audio interface instead of my PCI card interface. DirectX drivers instead of ASIO. No improvement. So, its not related to my audio interface and its not specific to anything else on my PC. So, I'm done troubleshooting. Obviously there's a problem with the device/drivers that is beyon...
