How set up ONE pad button to change your instruments and BPM
Hi Guys I thought I'd share my latest discovery on how set up only one pad button on my midi controller to not only change my instruments but also the exact BPMs as well. Unfortunately I don't have pictures because I'm a bit of a forum noob so I will explain this as best as I can. I use Ableton Live...

Is Ableton Live 9 instrument selection different to 8?
Hi guys. So currently I am running Ableton Live Suite 8 for a live setup both band and hybrid dj set. The biggest issue with 8 is changing instruments on my keyboard while playing. Currently i'm using the korg kontrol49 and using the pads to turn on and off each instrument in my channel by literally...

Re: New Track [DnB] - :: Project Liberation ::
To be honest I prefer the snare from the first, make your kick and snare louder, so it smashes you in the face. You are right about the snare being dull.sunaivod wrote:Thanks mates, which is sounding better. V1 or 2 ? The snare is a bit dull on the second, but I think V2 is more clear.
CHEEERZ. Almost weekend.

Wicked track!
Like your dirty bass line, can hear some Noisia influence in there.
Nice pad and vocals, integrated very well with the synth.

Re: Anyone else excited as me to see the new "Predators"?
Looks like the only way to like this movie is to see it with low expectations.
I saw it, thought it was pretty poor to be honest.
They could have gone more in depth about the Predators culture.

Re: Are you rocking a mac or a pc?
Macs being overpriced is a complete myth. Compare the hardware, build quality, and you will find that they are actually very good value for money. Not to mention OSX is cheap to buy and it has great integration with the computer hardware inside. Well the integration thing may be true. But great har...

Re: headphones in line out?
Depends on the capabilities of your soundcard. If it is a standard onboard soundcard, chances are you cannot have two different sources playing in each output.

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
Japan and Singapore have confirmed two new models of the PS3 slim: 160GB available in black and white, and the 320GB in black only. These also have a lower price than current slim models (around $299 and $349 USD), so here is hoping there will be a price drop later this year if these new models are ...

Re: room size vs monitor size
8 inch monitors would not be overkill if you acoustically treated the room, ie: Enough bass traps for africa. The size of your monitors won't matter if you don't have acoustic treatment, as the bass in such a small room will be difficult to reference from.

Upgrade time
Hi there This is my first post. I have an inquiry about upgrading and was hoping someone could help me. I have just upgraded from Abelton 8.0...something to 8.1.0. After this upgrade my computer has started to show its age as it struggles, jitters, hiccups its way through my tracks. Also does some e...
