Re: Live 10 authorization impossible, coming from Beta

Got mine too. No need to clean install? It just overwrites the beta? Live never overwrites previous versions. You don`t need a clean install since it is independent from each other but it`s more foolproof to then erase the old version i have the "quicksilver" launch app and i sometimes when in a hu...

Storage location of "Recent Projects List" on Mac

Hello there!

Can someone help me ?
I am looking as to how to find-copy-move the list of recently opened projects in order to copy it over from
Beta 10 to the Official version tomorrow.

Where is the list stored?

Thanks in advance for any info

Re: Ableton Live 10 - whats your favourite new features?

It´s a sad sign of time that for many users this is considered to be self evident. I had not a single crash during the whole beta phase. Today, the risk of a broken string onstage is higher than a crash with Ableton. Think about it for a while... As a coder I appreciate the hard work that goes into...

Re: ReArranging Drum rack slots and corresponding midi notes

Okay I totally get you now. I have no idea if what you want is possible though, I would suspect not. Anyones else have any ideas? Do you find what i wish for, normal or do you think i expect too much? For me without this functionality when i slice to Midi and it`s a longer clip it is a nightmare to...

Re: Ableton Live 10 - whats your favourite new features?

Your question is very relative. We are using a software and computers that people 15 years ago would dream of. And some of the coolest music was made with "ancient" (by todays standards ) computers. So your dilemma is a luxury issue. I have been using 8, then went to 9 and now preordered 10 before i...

Text to Speech Vst working on MAC

Hi there people. I am looking for a Text to Speech Vst with a slight retro sound that i can use in Ableton. I have Wavosaur`s "Speek" and Soniccharge`s "Bitspeek". I am not happy with them. SPEEK reads most things in an weird non clear way so you mostly don`t understand what it says. BITSPEEK does n...

Re: ReArranging Drum rack slots and corresponding midi notes

So you want to move a sample to a different pad in the drum rack and you want that MIDI note to move with it? Eg, you want the kick to be in the top right but you still want the kick to be triggered by C1 and not D#2? Maybe MIDI effects "pitch" and "scale" can help by putting them in an instrument ...

ReArranging Drum rack slots and corresponding midi notes

Hi there fellow music lovers! I have an issue with Drum racks. When i Slice an audio clip i many times want to Re-position the "Drum pads" in the Drum rack. Example: When there is one conga at the beginning and one many slices later i like to organize them the way they would be in a 808 Drum rack. L...

Re: Best Sounding Albums-Tracks in Dance Music History

I've been using various Tipper tunes and Infected Mushroom IM the Supervisor to setup my PA recently. Tipper. I listened to his latest ep. Forgot the name. He does amazing sound design. BUT While listening i thought "hmmm that track sounds cool but also pretty flat and harsh" so i opened Ozone in o...

Re: Best Sounding Albums-Tracks in Dance Music History

Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack - duh. Did you read what i am asking in the post? Not the music one likes the most. Only the Best Sounding, Best Mastered, Best Mixdown. Saturday Night Fever even though we all love it i really wouldn`t call a milestone mixdown balance, mastering, production wise. Th...

Re: Best Sounding Albums-Tracks in Dance Music History

* Deadmau5/Haley Gibby - "I remember" * ICT - "Lasciati Tentare" * BBE - "Seven days and one week" In no particular order, but these three have something about them...... Deadmau5 "I remember" has 2db rms dynamics and peaks at +1db over zero. Not exactly reference material. Thats exactly what i DON...

Re: Best Sounding Albums-Tracks in Dance Music History

Amon Tobin Isam is one of the most incredible sonic experience of the last decade imho. Amazing tunes, amazing sounds, amazing mix. Thank you. Yes we know Tobin and respect him :-) I have most of his stuff. What i am looking here though is less how much someone likes a specific music and more music...

Re: Best Sounding Albums-Tracks in Dance Music History

Anything goes but please not "these are the 30 best i know" . More like Top 2-3 would be sufficient-give me a chance to listen to all of them Main interest would be Dance music. Especially if you have experienced any songs that sounded extraordinary good in a club or big system. But of course i am ...

Re: TAL Free VST Plug-ins not recognized by Ableton 9

I picked ona as an example: TAL-Elek7ro-II.vst.zip (osx vst 32bit host ) And it's listed under Free Products: No support. My bolding. If you're absolutely set on using it you'll need a bridging software, see Converting 32-bit plug-ins (Mac) – Ableton , but none of those are free. In my experience i...
