i think i already know the answer but i figured i'd ask just in case...... i have an Mbox Micro interface that i use to monitor and mix my audio. I love the portability of it and the sound is OK. I know it has no inputs but that's not an issue here. I am concerned with sound quality when monitoring....

i use the ableton one but i wanted to see if there are better options. Which ones are regarded as the best?

I have a feeling this question is not for this section but here is goes just in case..... is this possible? There's one of those e-licensers involved. just checked out reviews on the DT 770's. Everyone seems happy with the "uncolored" low end they offer. Seem like a great option. Everyone tried the Ultrasone's? I hear those are great for low end as well.

I produce tracks with a lot of low end and sub base. I have like 4 different listening sources but none of them is good at telling me "what's in the mix". let me correct that. High end, no problem, low end.... big problem

Any suggestions or techniques greatly appreciated.

I really like working on clip view first as samples are warped perfectly almost always. Looking to buy a soundcard for $500 or less with really really good sound quality. I don't need that many ins and outs as i will have one maaaaybe two ins plugged in total. What suggestions do you guys have? I will be using it with a quad core imac running snow leopard.
