Re: Hardware synth & Ableton question

There is not a lot you can do to sync modulated destinations after the fact. It's either an effect you embrace or not. What I find hard to believe is that Access Virus does not support tempo synced LFO's nor delays.

Re: Canceling a Recording Take?

Different DAW's handle audio takes uniquely, some create a parent whole file and create a sub group off of that parent whole file. Avid Pro Tools is a prime example of this type of file structure relating to recording takes (Audio and MIDI). Comping Takes (audio only) handles recording takes differe...

Re: Canceling a Recording Take?

Thanks taff, I have APC40 on my list to get. Being able to cancel a take with the controller only enhances the controller more. Side note, Reason 6 as ReWire Client, will connecting two controllers (APC40 Live & Nektar P4 Reason) work? Let me rephrase that, with an APC40 with Live are there i...

Re: Canceling a Recording Take?

what is it you're trying to accomplish? Hi H2Only In some other DAW's, the ability to cancel a recording take, without undo commands nor delete is a quick and easy way of resetting a botched take. No other commands are needed, simply hit the keyboard command to cancel the recording take and hit Rec...

Cancel Recording Take with Key Command

Cancel Recording Take, cancels only the recording take. Unlike Undo that queues a list of undo operations, Cancel Recording Take enables other operations to be performed over and above the recording take and not be undone. With Key Command, Canceling a Recording Take makes easy work of canceling a T...

Re: Canceling a Recording Take?

Yeah that's your classic Undo function 3dot. If I was to enter another undo operations to the queue, undoing the take would require undoing the top two operations queued. Technically, Canceling a Recording Take functionality can be performed at any stage whilst recording. In theory, you should be ab...

Re: Canceling a Recording Take?

Hi 3dot, Undo doesn't work, Delete does however the clip must be in focus. A key command to cancel a recording take, cancels the take no matter what operation has previously been performed.

Re: What's your favorite hardware synth?

I'm a broke ass white kid from Pittsburgh I love my Roland GAIA. That Roland SH-01 a.k.a. GAIA is a dark horse. The feature set for the buck you pay is favorably balanced towards the buyer. I love taking it camping, sitting on some hill side in the sun, it's an atmosphere ripe for programming. GAIA...
