Possible to "embed" pedal sustain in note on / off info?
Hi folks, I've got a synth (Behringer Poly D) that doesn't seems to react to pedal sustain messages. Nor does it have a pedal sustain input. Which go me a-thinking: Normally sustain is a separate message, right? But in fact you could simply include it in the note on / off note messages, couldn't you...

Re: Small paid job
You can always send the notes to receivers hosted in several tracks with different midi channels. What’s eating midi on the eurorack side ? That would be fine, i don't mind jumping through a few hoops! On the Eurorack side i have a couple of Intellijel midi interfaces, plus a couple of other standa...

Re: Small paid job
Ok, that's weird!
Maybe send out to multiple outputs?
Or forget MIDI and send out CV/Gate to multiple audio outputs?
or....... ?

Small paid job
Hi folks,
I have a small job that i'm curious to know if anyone who's clever with M4L wants to do for me, for which i'm willing to pay.
EDIT:
Sorry, details removed, we might try to sell this so want to keep it under wraps for now, mods, feel free to delete this thread.

Re: Convert midi CC to CV internally?
Sure, i want to use the CCs that are modulating my music to also modulate 3D graphics in Blender, but Blender can't easily load in midi data, whereas it's easy to load in a wav file and convert the audio's contour into animation. So i'd like a way to directly convert a CC curve into a WAV containing...

Convert midi CC to CV internally?
Hi folks, Does anyone know of a way to convert midi CC to CV internally in the computer, without doing a real-time bounce through an audio interface? What i mean is, i have a midi track with some CC modulation on it, and i want to do something like "convert to CV" and i get an audio track containing...

Re: Session clips not in sync
Thanks dude! It's still not clear to me though! Could you tell me if the following is possible in session view: Midi track A contains one, 8 bar (yes, bar) long clip. Midi track B contains one, 8 bar long clip. I want to move my "play head" to the beginning of bar 7 and hit play. I want to hear both...

Session clips not in sync
Hi folks, I've been away from Ableton for a couple of years, just messing around with it again. I've got a Push 2 now and it seems that it really works best in session view. I've never been able to get my head around session view but now i'm determined to crack it. But there's something really confu...

This fade - how to edit?
Hi folks, Could someone tell me: please look at he image linked below. I've imported an audiofile. I'm trying to crop it to the start of the audio, but there's an S curve fade being applied. How do i access this fade to change it's length or even remove it completely? I can't see any grab handles to...

Re: Export not sounding the same as realtime listening?
I don't understand what you mean, i've already clearly stated the problem: When i listen "live" it sounds ok. Why i export, there's this weird volume boost in the beginning audio. What more testing do i need to do? Something is not right with Live. Or can you give me a scenario where Live is working...

Re: Export not sounding the same as realtime listening?
Guys, i've been a professional audio engineer for 20 years, I know what i'm doing! (although i only use Live occasionally, hence me less then complete knowledge of it)
Anyway, i guess it's a bug, carry on..............

Stop Live from moving playhead when selecting a clip?
Hi folks,
I'm in the arrange window.
When i click on a midi or audio clip, Live automatically moves the play head to the start of that clip.
I'm talking about when playback is stopped.
But i don't want this!
Any way to stop / change this behaviour?

Re: Export not sounding the same as realtime listening?
Yes, but the fact that it doesn't happen when i listen normally, but DOES happen when i export, tells us there IS a difference. Otherwise i wouldn't be on here complaining about it. So like i said, i agree a plugin is probably at fault, but Ableton is also at fault, because it provides one audio exp...
