I use Live live and in the studio and it's great, but the workflow is waaay different than on an MPC. I've owned, MPC60II, MPC3000, MPC2000XL, ASQ-10 & currently use an MPC1000 w/128MB RAM. I also use an MPD16 w/Battery/Impulse in conjunction with Live 5, Logic Pro 7, ProTools 7 & Nuendo 3 depending...

Distorted Reality imported into Sampler fine. Didn't check every single patch , but it all seems to be there...

I had 2 crashes today trying to import my "Synclav FM" Akai-formatted CDROM into Sampler. Only partial success with the factory EXS24 sounds too. Sampler should be intelligent enough to search the EXS Factory Samples folder before propting you to find it with a dialog box I think. I'll try "Distorte...

Same thing happened to me a while back. Had to email Christian a scan of my Live CD. Apparently, someone else was using my serial # too. They sorted it very quicky though. -DD
