Re: M4L Stability

Right I think the best way to move forward with this is to get a poll going. a.)to establish if this is widespread b.)to try and reveal any patterns. Hopefully get a big enough sample to be useful. I will link into the beta forum as well. it's quite odd really that I just excepted the crashes I have...

Re: M4L Stability

Maybe ableton HQ all use macs
could there not be a better way of reporting stability issues such as these? What does an ableton error report actually say? how do you open them? they just look like a live set to me.

So?

so it could be an os issue. Do you use many devices made 3rd party? Anyone with osx having these issues at all or just windows?

Re: M4L Stability

Random crashes with random devices. Sometimes loading device crashes live 9. Start Live 9 again, load same device again and it's loaded - not crashing Live 9. Really weird. Latest live and Max here.. This is how i would describe my problem. Interested to know what OS you use? I'm PC win 7 64, but c...

M4L Stability

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences crashes when adding a M4L device. I seem to get random crash when dragging a device into a project. I use allot of 3rd party devices but it doesn't seem specific to an device or device builder. If you get no issues then still reply to the thread as t...

Re: Latency when record arm selected in track?

ah ok its because i have that selected. When reduce latency when monitoring is off it is fine. So you would need to switch it on to record audio in sync?

Latency when record arm selected in track?

Why is there latency when you select record arm on a track? I notice it most with m4live sequencers, they go out of sync when this is selected. There is also a noticeable popping & a break in the sound.I have reduce latency when monitoring selected & also delay compensation.

Fixed length change using one hand?

Is there a way to change this without having to hold down a button & press another with my playing hand? Maybe its just me & my very short memory but i find this a bit awkward sometimes when i'm jamming away i tend to forget the pattern i've played if i use that hand for something else.
