Re: Where Is 9.06 Beta?

The browser is a mess, I'm not talking about scanning folders i do not have issues with that(although some do)I'm talking about major flaws with its design. It's not just me there are many people who just about put up with it because they have to but its by far the weakest element of live. The categ...

Re: Push Pads Sensitivity Issues

I've discovered my pads are not consistent, some pads seems playable others not. Often some pads not triggering at all when hit firmly. this is on -12. At -14 it self triggers from time to time.

Re: Live 9 browser NIGHTMARE !!!

My issues with browser. Categories needs vastly improving, a complete re-design or get rid of it. Currently the only thing i use categories is for vst plugins (thank god i am still able to keep my file structure with this) & native instruments & fx which unfortunately do not have any way to organise...

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white

G'wan then, skedaddle. This sort of 'sour grapes' mentality is turning into spam. I find Push to be an amazing tool/instrument for interfacing with Live regardless of minor inconsistencies of LED whiteness. If your'e done, be done. Don't hang around looking for sympathy or some sort of cosmic justi...

Re: Poor PUSH

I can't understand why these threads go on & on about Machine vs Push, they are both great tools to make music. Most of us can't afford both so look at the obvious strengths of each & what suits our needs & make a choice. I'm very happy with push, i still get that tingly excitable feeling just think...

Re: Poor PUSH

I use it for constructing beats, bass, melodies 90% of the time. I'm still 50/50 with using a keyboard for chords quite often using both a keyboard & push together. I resort to a computer for browsing. I think its great for getting ideas down. I certainly enjoy using it, imo it's intuitive but as yo...

Indexing is one of many issues with the browser, was hoping some progress would have been by now.

Re: step sequencing non-drums

I definitely think m4l is a great thing & i'm looking forward to what gets developed, just core features like browser I would expect ableton to sort without some m4l hack. Would of been nice to have a step seq for instruments but should not be too hard to do it through m4l.

Re: A video demonstrating the Push's pad sensitivity

ok. I think the push units must vary a fair bit in terms of sensitivity. I just can't reproduce that demo unless i go right down to -19, then it starts to go a bit crazy.

Re: step sequencing non-drums

I imagine this may come about through m4l. Seems like ableton are not bothered by such a feature. What makes you think they're not interested in it? Maybe to say 'not interested' is wrong but I just think they would already of sat round a table & considered it & for what ever reason have decided no...

Re: A video demonstrating the Push's pad sensitivity

You are limited to the sensitivity in the user setting on push because live is in demo? Or is there a setting in live itself?
