I suppose at this stage any tweaks would only be made to 'fine tune' the sound and integrate it with the rest of the track. Any effects stuff you might want to do, might be...

well, for altiverb alone I'd like to pick up a mac, but nebulae raised some good points in another thread. He said intel will be releasing a new cpu this summer, so that puts me off spending large money on a pc cpu, and as for the mac...well, I've got a laptop now and in all honesty I would be as we...

I concur with waiting and patience. It's not just that Live 6 will come out this summer, it's also that you have no idea what bugs and issues will come with Live 6. Of course, the Abes work really hard to release a solid build, but look at the number of issues that keep coming up with each new rele...

If you will be mostly using the pc to record synths and such (ie , no mic recordings) ....I dont see why you should she...

steady up radeon, the purpose of this post is to trash some ideas around. I have the money, and I have my own priorities. coming in at 10k, a protools system is not suitable to me. Thats 50% of what I have to spend. I could get a tricked-out pc, a rosetta 800 , surround monitor setup and a plush pre...

ya, the carillions and red submarine...and another one I forget. They make acoustically treated machines....so you pay 6 grand for something you could get for half the price, but just not silent. So.....I am more concerned with the force in terms of cpu.....any recording I'll do , I can do far enoug...
