Re: Logic 8 Excitement Fading

Seems the initial reaction to Logic 8 has cooled considerably. I guess AL is cool again. Whew, that was scary. The new Logic has been the best seller of all logic versions in the time its been released. I guess yoru worried that people will like Logic and maybe even new users will buy it or switch ...

what about GROUPS? only for Drum Rack? alas, groups only for Drum Tracks. from the Abes: "Grouping of tracks is high on our list of things to do for a future Live version, but it's not going to be in Live 7. We are pretty confident that it will be possible to design this feature in a way so that th...

I have waited now since version ...

I don't think this is a good idea at all, unless its an option you can bypass. At least I can't imagine that the people calling for this change are the same ones that want the ability to change time signatures. The aforementioned setup only works if everything you write is in 4/4 - otherwise its wo...

I seriously doubt it although you would have thought with the nature of this software they could assign multiple audio streams to a clip or track which could then be used creatively but would be very useful for recording multiple takes as well.

Cubase SX play order track is the same idea. This feature sounds to much like what the clips in session view already do. Its a rehash of whats already there and not particularly useful if you can jam and record your song arrangements from session view. What would be the point if you have your live s...

It's not like the wheel is being reinvented or new technology has changed this issue or anything. Software companies have already had solutions for dealing with latency for years now so it has already been figured out long ago. Apparently Ableton is the only one that has a different philosophy when...

Re: GIVE US A MUTE TOOL FOR CHRIST SAKE!!!!!!

THIS IS WHY I AND MANY OTHERS NEED A MUTE TOOL Double click on your clip in arrrangment and look on the Clip View, all the way to the left near the top. This is the On/Off button for the clip and functions as a Mute. You can select multiple clips on the grid and turn them all on and off at once . Y...
