Re: APC40, footswitch, midi programming

i would like to set the footswitch to engage record on the track that is currently selected. when it is finished recording i would like it to aim for the slot below it. from what i can tell it can only do this using scene launch, which isn't what i want because that will affect all the other tracks ...

automation jumps after recording

i can never figure this out. i've tried so many different combinations of OVR, the red button and just turning off record. when i record some automation, let's say lower the volume of a track, i want it to stay at the lowest point when i finish recording. instead whenever i take off record, it jumps...

Re: oxygen sustain pedal for multiple loopers

the buttons weren't working because on some presets they won't be assignable. i fixed that but still looking for an answer on the pedal input if anyone knows.

oxygen sustain pedal for multiple loopers

i want to use the sustain pedal to activate the looper for what ever track is selected.

also there are 9 buttons underneath the 9 faders(c18-c26), they don't seem to assign for some reason.

well i went over the comparison chart and i realized that i could still use the full version for tutorial purposes as long as i keep track of the limitations. is the library different in Intro?

How does a Live 8 user evaluate Live Intro?

i'm interested in doing some video tutorials for friends who are new to recording, but I already own Live 8. when i install Intro it says that the program is already verified, and it essentially looks exactly like full Live 8.

Is there any way to run it like a non-Live 8 user runs it?

Re: Live 8.1.1 is online! (change log included)

i am doing this update because i had a problem with my last version of ableton 8 where the launchpad wouldn't play nicely with the nanoKontrol. maybe there is a setting that i have to check so the two can work in tandem? just to update on that problem i was having - it seems to be fixed in this upd...

Re: DevineMachine Cycler

ableton Looper is not perfect but it's a good step towards having an easy sound-on-sound looping setup which was always painful to put together before. that being said i hope they continue to work on Looper or else it will definitely never stack up against something like what Devine Machine is worki...

Re: Santa's coming and you have one choice for a Midi Controller

i bought a launchpad this weekend cause it's in my budget for the month. after i took it home and started playing i realized that the APC40 would've been a better investment for me. i have a behringer bcf-2000 and a nanokontrol already, so hopefully i will get by. i am kind of kidding about getting ...

yes another thread about launching clips

i did a search for this on the forum, but i couldn't seem to find any threads dealing with this. i'm using live 2.03 DEMO(yes demo damn i need to buy this puppy!) i load a clip then i assign a midi command to the launch area of the clip in session view(under "track" and it's the box with the arrow i...
