i had a couple of great nights on absinthe, someone left a bottle in a house i moved into in london some time back, 3 of us drank the whole thing not really knowing what it was, kind of a 'shit, we've got no drugs we might as well drink that dodgy looking green stuff in the kitchen' and we ended up...

How about doing the soundtrack in Live with a convolution reverb to emulate the club acoustics?

I have deldeted my Refx product from my computer and won't be buying anything else from them. I had decided that anyway but this post just confirms matters for me. It might also be worth looking into whether what they have done is actually legal.

FS : Logic Studio

Got too many DAWs on the go at the moment so I'm selling Logic Studio for $375. Add $15 for US shipping (manuals and box included). I can ship everything to Europe at cost but it might be pricey (without the box and manuals will dramatically reduce the shipping cost to around $10 for Europe). This i...

Maybe I missed it on the relevant web page but are these dry or recorded with reverb? Makes a big difference and re the price: they will need to be astonishing samples to justify the premium over Vienna Instruments SE which is the (dry) benchmark at that budget IMHO. I hope it is good value because ...

FWIW I returned my 828 MK3 yesterday because there is a known issue with pings and whistles, rapidly followed by audio completely dropping out. With me it started as an occasional thing but over a few days it became every five minutes. A reboot of the 828 resolves it (but of course your DAW software...

Just to clarify, the agre chipset thing has took a life of it's own. RME had some issues with their hardware not mounting, nothing about the chipset being faulty for audio etc, more like a firmware issue in RME's mind. You could in many cases get the Fireface to mount if you used an external hard d...

I emailed MOTU and they said the Ultralite is fully qualified with the Agere chipset. Having said that, they said that the 828 MK3 was too and I just sent mine back today because it does not work with my iMac (hangs every 5 minutes). Might not be an Agere chipset issue but it doesn't work for whatev...

You need white wires to blend in with the radiator. Or a black radiator.

I need a land line for cheap calls overseas. :( Otherwise I'd get rid of it - it's just clutter.
