Re: Cool Vocal Processing and FX in Live and NI
Guys, I own Live and Komplete 7 and am looking to bring in wet vocal FX and processing to fit the production I do, mostly hip hop electronic. I enjoy the distortion based vocal FX used by Beck, Jack White and The Black Keys. Sounds overdriven, filtered/EQed and has some cool unique qualities to it....

Re: setting up Trigger Finger Newbie question....
it only maps the macros and the pads on the drum rack. i want to map the sliders, then save those mappings so that they are there every time I open a new drum rack.

setting up Trigger Finger Newbie question....
hey all, just picked a Trigger Finger to use with Drum Racks. I'm still an ableton newbie, and very much a MIDI newbie. what i'm trying to do is simple (i think): I want to map everything that I want in Drum Racks to the Trigger Finger. I want to save those mappings to use them again with each sessi...

best MIDI controller for Live - production?
Hey guys,
Getting back into the game after some time away. Looking to get a new MIDI keyboard/controller for productions at home. I've been looking at the Novation SL-25 for its automap features and compact size. Any other recommendations?
Thanks!

Library?
I'm new to this forum, I just downloaded the demo for Live 7 - the first thing it tells me is that Live can't find the Library....I can't find it either - where is it?
I'm confused here.
Thanks in advance for helping out a rookie

MOTU writes some of the best drivers for OSX. the new UltraLite would probably suit you very well. your 5400rpm HD should be fine, so long as you dont plan on recording externally any more than 8 tracks. thats where you want a faster drive speed the most. But for playback of tracks in your mix, 540...

recording guitar, bass, vocals into Ableton
does anyone do this? as opposed to using another program? recommended with Ableton or no? i'm curious because i'm currently researching interfaces (see other post) and I'm looking at the Presonus Firebox and the Motu Ultralite. The Firebox comes with a stripped down version of Cubase, which I know I...
