Re: Am I the only one still using Ableton Live 4?

Re: A good active sub monitor

Hmm, I´m just guessing, but I have the Genelec 8020 and find them very clear. My guess now would be that you surely get more bass with a krk sub, but that on the other hand you lose the definition of the Genelecs. Just a guess, though.

Re: copy paste clips between 2 ableton instances

You can just load another set, copy, load the previous set and paste. Simple as that. On mac that is, dunno about windows.

Re: Do people actually use arpeggiators?

To answer the original question, yes, I use arpeggiators, but rarely.
I find it not too easy to make them do what I have in mind, so often I´m better of programming the notes manually.

Re: Do people actually use arpeggiators?

Personally, I feel like arpeggiators are "cheating". I mean, some other person in the world wrote that patter. How can using one be creative and original? improve renaming of rack chains

Currently when I hit "arrow down" after renaming a rack chain the next chain will be selected but will not be ready to be renamed, which would be very convenient.

Like when renaming clips in session view.

Re: Room resonance?

I had a similiar problem. My mates advice was: "From now on you should write all your tracks in D, you´ll get a really heavy bass!" 8O
