OK, I just bought one. It works with everything I tried so far. OS9 Logic 4.8.1 to OSX Logic 6.1. MIDI + Audio works fine. audio in and out. Ableton Live, OSX 2.1, audio out works fine. Haven't tried audio in in Live yet. Minimum buffer in OS9 before audio degradation is 256, but you can monitor thr...

I'm reallly used to the Mac and already have a dual 1.25 ghz desktop set up. It would make sense to have both systems as compatible as possible. It also seems from what I've seen and read that there is a much greater risk of virus infection with a PC. Also I had a look at prices in PCWorld today and...

Titanium 1ghz dual boot powerbooks. User experiences please.
Member Rated: posted October 04, 2003 01:05 PM Referring to the last generation of Ti G4 1ghz powerbooks - the ones that boot into OS9. I heard some stories about them having noisy fans that stay on all the time. Apparently the 867 is a lot quieter. Any user experiences would ...

Are you on a Macintosh? If so there is a shareware app called Default Folder, available for OS9 and OSX. It does everything you want and much much more. It's a superb utility to have and turns your open/save as file selectors into something they should already be! You can even set key commands withi...

I've just been trying this trick, Full of Apples. It's great, and thanks very much for posting it. A couple of little niggles though: 1) The clip pastes back into the original song with the original file's name. That's not such a big problem cos I can rename the clip. but 2) This new clip doesn't se...

Copy/paste Warp settings to another clip.
Copy/paste warp settings to another clip.
Pretty essential for multi miked drum recordings - they all need to be warped exactly the same or horrendous flamming/phasing ensues.
Would be very cool for creative uses too - superimpose one feel onto another sound.

Well Reason's notoriously CPU light, and you're close to the edge with M Audio's recommendations (which probably weren't tested with Live), so I wonder if this is just down to the available CPU you have on your machine. Are any other people having problems with the 410 and Live? Can anyone else shar...

Lucas - Do you run any other software like Logic, Cubase etc? Anything you could test the card with to see if the incompatibility is solely with Live? I'd be really interested to hear other people's experiences with this card as I'm looking at getting a Ti867 soon. Tim G4 1.25 dual Mac OS 10.2.6 + 9...
