Re: Breaking: Ableton Announces Version 10

i hate this nerdy internet culture of "trolling". It was a joke not "trolling". I use Ableton almost every day, its great software, but does that mean I can't take this piss out of it? Lets face it 3 years for a minor update is fair game for a joke, will i still use it? yes. will i defend it to the ...

Re: BCR2000 not working properly

In my experience, these break easily, made of quite flimsy plastic and prone to damage. Maybe just buy a replacement, I've bought 3 in the past few years, handy device but cheap as fuck in terms of build quality.

Yes, I'm sure the folks with their hands on beta, the magazines who have trialled it were simple imagining the software. Their website doesnt exist either, its a digital binary enomaly.

but the real important question is: does bitwig handles it better, or not?

Dont know if this has been posted yet but

It's been confirmed on Bitwigs facebook page that the software will have full PDC implementation. It has to be said, Bitwig is really looking to be something very impressive indeed.

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

ableton are ten years behind their competitors, it's an absolute disgrace. what have they been doing for 3 years? for this to be the new version after 3 years is nothing short of embarrassing for the company and a kick in the teeth to their customers. pdc not being fixed after 3 years of development...

Re: Ableton Support response to Live 9 PDC

Its very disapointing after all these years of devepment that this issue is still not addressed. Ableton hides behind the "Live Tool/Instrument" functionality that it has, giving it the excuse that Ableton does not need to be a serious production tool. Yes Ableton has some nice features to use live,...

On another note, I went to an Ableton workshop in Atlanta last night (put on by Ableton). Very cool, instructor spent a lot of time with Omnisphere, pretty sick simulator! mines is a i7-...

Re: Clicks and Pops and the optimum settings...

I'm running Ableton at 96,000khz, 24 bit at 128 samples with 1.2ms latency and no clicks even at 40ish tracks running multiple vsts on each. Just thought I'd annoy you a little.
