im certain that most of the people who dont get many crashes arent pushing Ableton as hard as those who are. Soon as track count gets to around plus 40 and there is plenty of 3rd party VST's on the go Ableton seems to crumble like a sand biscuit at dawn on a friday.

u may have to manuel match it, cos ableton may get confused with the offbeats. But it shouldnt be too hard as dancehall is still in 4/4.

The FXpansion - VST to RTAS Adapter works 100%, i've personally had no issues.

First of all, never allow any of your tracks to into the red. Personally would leave -10db to -6db of headroom on the master channel, this will give you plently of space when it comes to mastering.

Never been a fan of TAL tbh; their synths are very poor indeed. Quite the contrary. TAL make high quality synths and it is outstanding that they are free. You shouldn't confuse your preferences with quality. Totally disagree with you there, i find there synths to be very grainy, lacking features an...

Doing my fucking head in

Keeps freezing everytime I shut down or switch between sets. Keeps freezing everytime I delete a midi track. Keeps freezing everytime I load an audio track into a channel. And is crashing atleast 4 times an hour! FUCKING GAAAAR!!!!!

its pretty much impossible to do with out atleast having the same format copy instrumental for phasing out the music. Other than that you can try a variety of methods but nothing will give you a purely clean acapella.
