We still have troops in Germany so I doubt we will be out of the Middle East any time soon. I hear ...

Re: Teenage Engineering finally announce market release of OP1

I wonder if Teenage Engineering has anything to do with Tonium? Both enterprises deal with electronic music novelty toys, have quite similar website design and are located in Södermalm in Stockholm... Call it coincidence.
By the way, Propellerheads are also located in Södermalm...

Tell me how to avoid his posts? He is everywhere on this forum.
And it's OK.
I respect his opinion even or especially when I don't agree with it...

Guys, your discussion proves that vinyl records are nothing else than a fetish.
Inconvenient and outdated. And I always thought it has something to do with it's sound... Sucker!

Re: using ableton in a traditional way

... Fact is that mixes rendered from live sound muddy... One of the biggest bull around here. In 32bit/44.1kHz (no mention 96kHz...) Live sounds absolute transparent (crystal clear...). I don't say it sounds better than Logic or ProTools, though it doesn't sound worse. FX and instruments in Logic S...

Re: Headphones for mixing

...I don't understand people who recommend HD 25s for studio work or mixing... No need to be so picky... You know they call it "diversity"... It's a question of taste, I guess. I have ATH-M50 as well (just for reference...) and it's collecting dust on the shelf (as well as AKG K240 and K271...). I ...

Re: Headphones for mixing

I vote as well for Sennheiser HD25, but be careful and choose right - HD25-SP1 sucks! It's a cheaper version and unfortunately has nothing to do with deep sound of "original" HD25 (though it's not a fake - just a budget version). I would suggest you to try Sennheiser HD380Pro. Outstanding quality to...

Re: Anyone have the Dance Music Manual by Rick Snowman?

Buy Hewitt and forget Snoman... The only chapter I found interesting in Snowman's "Manual..." was about clearing samples. Since then: no samples ;)
On contrary Hewitt book is very usefull...
