Re: Studio Monitors, <$600

If you've missed here is a comparison of HS80M with HS8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCiLSOZXaQo HS8 sounds more KRKish - weaker midrange, slightly overhyped high range and and the lows that are somwhere there, but not exactly... So all advantages of HS80M are gone... HS8 is for somebody who likes...

Because I still believe that story about optical drives being obsolete is nothing, but a conspiracy theory or simply a rude hoax, I personally use Live in 16 bit only...

Re: Bitwig 1.0

I'm definitely interested in getting Bitwig Studio. It will have something that Live doesn't -- being able to see multiple tracks in the MIDI editor -- and that's a necessity for me when it comes to composing "note against note". I'm not hopeful that Ableton will ever implement this feature. Mike S...

Re: Bitwig 1.0

I will probably jump ship, or at least use it along side Ableton. There's so many damn features that it just obliterates what Live is capable of for studio and live work. I'm just fed up with Live's tech support playing stupid and or getting no response from them period. I'm also very upset with th...

I hope you were ironic... Otherwise it's plain moronic.
It's like calling the Stainway grand piano "the acoustic MIDI controller"...
And here some more "endless loops live on your acoustic instruments"...
Much better ones...

Re: Remember the Bloody Audio Interface!

Awesome, now unconnected it and then reconnect, does Live automatically select it again? Every other DAW I've ever used does this, very useful for laptop users running different audo set ups. With huge amount of respect for your knowledge and experience I can't find any reason to disconnect my setu...

Re: Remember the Bloody Audio Interface!

I don't know what the hell are you talking about?! You all sound like a bunch of whinos... First things first. Connect your external audio interface and turn it on. Then you may start up the computer. Never had the issue with Live not recognizing set up audio interface. Doesn't matter if it's deskto...
