In 10.1.5 you only get 2 audio outputs. You also get nasty output distortion sometimes, especially when using the filters in Ableton Live.

Still testing latency settings. Screen latency appears to be an issue. CPU % seems comparable to OS 9. Not sure I can deal with the screen redraw latency in a live PA setting.

OK, I think I've figured it out. In Audio Midi Setup utility under Selected Audio Device: it likes to revert to Built-in Audio Controller once your Audio Application or Ableton Live is closed. So before you open up Ableton it looks like you have to set that to emi 2/6 again and then your channel out...

Yes, it does. But drivers for multiple audio outs don't seem to exist yet.

well, it appears that they must release a new version of the firmware to then be able to have the option to see the 6 outs. I'm sure it is just around the corner. They seem to be advertising their 6 audio outs a lot and they seem to have acquired E-magic so they would have a hardware box to do this....

Jaguar & emi2/6

Got the Jaguar OS X 10.2 update and still only get 2 audio outs from the E-magic emi 2/6. What happened to the 6 audio outs ? At least I'm not getting the distortion from filter tweaking in Ableton Live any more.

Send Knob Zero button

Would be great if the send knobs behaved like the pan knobs. Maybe when clicking on the character under the send knob will automatically zero that knob ?

Would make for faster adjustment of send levels without having to resort to external controllers.

Agreed, I have already done that. However, having Sherlock active is essential when working on tracks and searching for that special sample that you can't seem to remember what folder it is in.

It just isn't essential for performance.

Mac Tip

Just back from Detroit where I played my last gig @ Motor. I thought I'd share with you all what happened and offer you Mac users this tip. I started my set @ 11:30pm and things were going great. At the strike of midnight though Sherlock launched and started indexing my damn hard disk. So I hit the ...

I'm using the Doepfer Pocket Fader and I like it. It is small and works. I got it on sale in December from the US distributor just before they introduced the silver one. It may be ugly black and blue with yellow lettering but it works.
