oh sorry wasn't clear on that one. i meant will it be possible to use a sequencer style layout so that you could press buttons that would react to midi messages. you cant do this with the piano rollout i dont think.

your quite the salseman. haha. so tell me does the lemur it automaticly map its interface quickly so you dont have to do all that crap manually? Im guessing not. do you think the screen is big enough? i really need to see someone using it with ableton. i can imagine things like shifting eq points an...

thanks for all the info guys. the lemur looks interesting. but can it really do everything the mackie can? the interface doesn't look like it fits that much on there. I dont know anything in the way of programming that stuff though either. i dont think i understand these things - emagic logic contro...

thanks for the replys guys. just bought one used. It really is almost ten times better than the Behringer FCB2000. Mackie and Emagic originally came up with some great basic ideas for a controller that they patented more or less, so the mackie control works with Live very well, no problems. I don;t ...

mackie control - tell me how good it is

I'm planning on buying one of these units. i want to know a few things about it though. to begin with what competition do they have out there thats better? how future proof is it? do you think it is an investment that will last a very long time considering multi touch screens are just around the cor...

the wacom cintiq 21" isn't multi touch and it uses a pen, but its about 3000-5000 australian depending on where you live and is a crazy little device. but you'd want to be using for art or video editing too to justify the cost.

that shalterk drum machine controller thing looks awesome. how much is it? i want one. impulse is nice but there is one thing i find very irritating, that you cant drag and drop from one cell to another (to swap or duplicate) or from a cell back into your library. it means you can forget where the b...

so poster, if live can't recieve internal midi signals then how did you get your lfo generator to work in live?

I managed to get a sync working but i dont think it works unless the reaktor is run in live, which i cant do because then the midi signal wont be recieved.

I was trying to make the same thing, and i got really close to getting it working. actually i could send the lfo, but only when i opened up my ensemble in reaktor (as a standalone), not when it was running through ableton. i also needed to use midiyoke. it was in this thread- http://www.ableton.com/...
