Re: Ableton making fans spin really high on a MacBook pro
Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I solved my problem. GPU (Ati Radeon) makes the computer work really hard using Ableton. Changing to integrated Iris Video Card will cool everything down, and make the Ableton experience an enjoyable one. There is a drawback though, using GFX Card the little...

Ableton making fans spin really high on a MacBook pro
Hi, I have a 2.8 Ghz 2015 MacBook Pro that I just started using with Live. I noticed that Live makes fans spin very fast, making an annoying noise and possibly harming the computer in the long term, when the CPU is barely at 15% Anyone noticed this? Using the same vsti in logic doesn't make the fans...

Re: Keeping a track armed while changing other tracks parameter
Yes!
That does the trick, thanks a lot.
It should be possible to lock a plugin to control surface from the push itself, so you don´t need to grab the mouse though....maybe in a future update.

Re: Keeping a track armed while changing other tracks parameter
Thanks for your reply. I just did what you suggested but couldn't achieve what I need: I am playing a synth with the push, and send it to reverb. If I want to tweak any reverb parameter while playing the synth I can't do it because when I press the reverb button I loose the synth in the pads. Is the...

Keeping a track armed while changing other tracks parameter
Hi, I'm a happy new push 2 user and have just bumped into the following situations that I cannot solve or find help on other posts: I'm playing a drum vst (addictive drums) which has multiple outputs ( one per drum) returning into Ableton as audio tracks. This way I can add any audio effect I want t...

Re: Importing a Tempo Map in Live 9 from Protools
One question though:
Warping the click track will change its timing, in spite of being the master.
If you warp this click and compare it to an unwarped version they will drift in time.
Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the original goal? (Importing an accurate tempo map as possible)
Thanks!

New Live user. Question about multitrack editing
Hi everyone, I am an experienced Cubase/ Reaper user who just bought Push 2 and feel very happy with my new toy. I am in the process of switching DAW and need to ask a question to the group. Which is the best way to edit a bunch of tracks that are supposed to go together (eg multitrack drums) ? What...

live drumming question
Hi everyone. I am thinking about buying live, but need to know if what I want to do would be possible. I am a drummer, and play electronic drums. I play in a band, and we would need to have the computer managing the tempo at certain moments, and to play without the click at other moments. We need to...
