Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

I checked S1 and found the automation is delay compensated. But unlike Live when user disable the plugins it is literary removed from the routing, thus it drifts/trash audio stream. I know S1 isn't developed for live situation so it won't be problematic. Live keeps PDC on even if plugin is turned o...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

Must admit I have a hard time seeing it as a serious problem... It really depends on the type of project. In some electronica genres, like progressive house and uplifting trance, tempo synced delays and filters running in series are pretty much a staple of the sound design. Simultaneous rhythmic el...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

Please...I too would appreciate an explanation of this PDC problem and how I can recreate it. As I understand it, if I don't use too many external plug-ins I'm fine? As in, stacking Live effects has no effect on delay? Automation Tempo synced plugs go out of time when you add plugs test one - "auto...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

Cubase SX 2.0/Cubase SL2.0 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steinberg_Cubase 2003 Cubase SX2.0 was hailed by many as a huge leap in functionality. One of the most innovative features was called Timewarp. This allowed users to record music either as MIDI and/or Audio in freetime, without click or metron...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

I just got Live 9 and unfortunately found out that the PDC ISSUES ARE NOT FIXED. http://i.imgur.com/34hcC.png As you can see in the image above I loaded a kickdrum into simpler with the following effects chain: Simpler > Pro-Q > Pro-C > VolumeShaper As you can see the kick is delayed in VolumeShape...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

… Easy to implemnt Ableton CANNOT BE BOTHERED … The complaint about PDC is valid, for the most part, but this part is really rubbish. 'Easy'? If you aren't a developer, it is 'easy' for you to assess the difficulty because you have no frame of reference. if you are a developer, why don't you show t...

Maybe it will snap to grid
....but then when you add fx we all know that automation goes out of time....

They'll probably do that

Re: Fixing timing errors

Hi, Apologies in advance for what might seem to be a daft question for you all, but im a newbie to Live and cant seem to find an answer. I have recorded a friends bass guitar work using Live 8.2 into a WAV file. However, there are one or two timing errors with his performance, just where one or two...
