Just try... you ve got 2 solutions:
-assign the play button for one clip
-assign the play button for one track (on the back of all the clips), it will trigger the clip in the current scene.

Assign your midi controller to the play button,at first press it will record,and then it will directly play.

If you are on windows, and if you essentially play live, try the mobius looper. It is free and marvelous.
