I havn't tried, but you could maybe drag'n'drop the whole track from the browser to the new song, and copy/paste the instrument ?

Wow, is it good for controlling the mixer ?
I mean, can you assign the knob to what you want ? Hum, no mute/solo buttons...
But it's a bargain.

Personnaly, I focus on live performance first. I mean, my songs are made to be interesting in live. Then, I rethink them when recording.
