Decent Audio Interface to be used only for Studio Monitors

Hi, I just purchased a pair of KRK RP6 studio monitors online (should be here before christmas) and was thinking about purchasing an audio interface as well. Re: Sampling mp3 files in Ableton. bad quality?

hehe you're absolutely right. I'm in the process right now of aquiring flac formats of every one of the mp3s I sampled. It's going to be a huge pain in the ass swapping them in every ableton project. :| But if it really makes a difference, it's definitely worth it.

Sampling mp3 files in Ableton. bad quality?

Hi, I was wondering if sampling songs that are in an mp3 format while producing a track is bad? Will it cause a loss of quality? I'm mainly sampling old mp3 songs on my computer for drums kicks snares hats and some vocals.
