here's a little batch i wrote which could be handy for you http://www.bitmud.com/progs/setVSTplugPath.zip on xp the vst-folder is set in the registry when installing cubase, but as i don't use it anymore, i wrote that to set the folder in the registry by just dragging my plugin-folder on this batch,...

i use liveslice and love it because it's so cool to slice and arrange directly in its gui. i can use the fx version also to record audio into the buffer and rearrange it on the fly.
and as the name implies it got several useful features to use it in live situations.. perfect companion for live 5.

meanwhile you could use minihost from tobybear http://www.tobybear.de or energyXT http://www.xt-hq.com both have this feature, just use them for sound-design and save your patches as .fxp/.fxb to reload them in live. (energyXT demo should do it already, but it has many more functions so it's worth b...

so now it works fine in every audio program but i dont get sound when say...im listening to a soundfile on the internet and such. any ideas? if your card offers several outputs, just disable the first in asio4all, then other (non-asio) programs should be able to use the first out. btw. we be good t...
