Live 8 updates reinstall previously removed packs

Hi, as I don't own the suite or any native pay-instruments such as Analog, Electric etc., I deinstalled any library packs with content for those instruments. When I update Live, those packs get reinstalled and I have to manually remove them again. Please consider for coming updates that the library ...

try SyncToy from MS, it's free and does what you need very well (using it myself). it needs .net 2.0, but that shouldn't be a problem.

get it here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... layLang=en

I go ahead and tell you what most will think... this is definately the wrong place to ask, you'll be better off asking this in the audiorealism forum as this is a question about the plugs and not the host. http://www.audiorealism.se/phpBB2/ and here you can also download the manuals for your purchas...

you should check 3am's tutorial, you can get some kind of basic stretching with simpler by using automation on sample start, length and loop length... you can get pretty amazing sounds using this technique.

not exactly in simpler, i don't know about sampler as i don't own it. but there are some tricks to use simpler and get some kind of timestretching by using automation, so you could play the sample with another pitch and then strech it. 3am explained that in a great tutorial which you can get here: h...

Start Live with higher prio/custom powermanagement (WinXP)

Hi, I recently optimized my laptop settings and just wanted to share some things with the community. I tried the forum search but it came up with nothing, so forgive me if this isn't new to you. ;) All I post here was done in WinXP, but I guess it should also work on Vista (perhaps a Vista user coul...

I suggest that you don't use normal midi boxes and cables to sync your machines. My bandmate and i sync our notebooks using ipMIDI which sends midi over network, so all you need is to set up a lan access between your machines. It works great for us, we rarely get sync issues, but then everytime the ...

Btw every announcement for a beta v...
