Mix validator / report generator?

Does anyone know of a mix validator? Those who code web pages may be familiar with HTML markup validators - I want the equivalent for Ableton mixes/routing! What I want is something I can run, preferably configurable, that will generate a report of the current routing and settings of a set. I'd like...

Re: APC40 power supply cable is too short

I know this thread is over 3 years old now, but it popped up when searching for APC 40 power supply. Anyway, it turns out that MOST hard drives use the same power 12VDC @ 3 amps.... So, if you have some external drives and you don't want to go find another cable, you might wanna try the hard drive p...

Re: Line tool for editing MIDI cntl data - PLEASE! :)

Update:
What I was doing wrong was I started my line by clicking on the first event. You can only start the line in an area that doesn't have event data.

I still don't know how to enter in absolute values, but I'll update this again if I find out.

Re: Line tool for editing MIDI cntl data - PLEASE! :)

u can in draw mode, press ctr and then drag and you can create lines for the selcted values, altought u must first select the notes u want to affect. When I hold down the control key, the cursor displays a menu and when I click, the options menu appears. I tried every combo of key stroke w/ draw mo...

Line tool for editing MIDI cntl data - PLEASE! :)

I've owned Live since v1... and I keep leaving it for Cubase or Logic because there's no way to draw a line between 2 points to define the MIDI controller data! I can't believe it's 2011 and I'm even typing this... ;) BTW, while you're at it, add a sine wave tool like Cubase! It's so powerful!!!!! O...

Re: Index Failed: Database Disk image is Malformed

I get this too. I'm using Live 8.2.2 - I just swapped the drives that all my data was on. (I moved it to a 2nd internal in my macBook pro).

I'm going to try:
- finding and deleting any Ableton index files I might find.
- completely reinstalling

Post your video mashups/remixes here please :)

Hi Folks, I spent XMAZ break pumping out YouTube videos from my live PA performance in San Fran last weekend. All of my video slicing/editing work has been done completely in Live 7. I added the titles and watermark in After Effects. My tracks are constructed either first as musical arrangements wit...

i suggest going to a store with the demo install of ableton and the performance test (found on these forums) on a usb drive. Then you can see for yourself. If you actually bother, please post your findings here. :)

peace

Anyway, try this place: http://www.radgametools.com/ and DL Bink and Smacker. Both are video codec software. I've been using Bink for a while now. And its FREE!!! It works well too, somwtime only problem I have with it is that depending on the video, it won't convert the sound source file along wit...

I've got to say that BM is fucking hard core. If you aren't hard core you will die out there due to thirst, heat, flame thrower or other feats of stupidity. There's a reason why the ticket mentions that they are not responsible for your death. If you haven't been, you have no idea what you're talkin...

I want to be a beta tester and either my spam filter is eating Ableton email or they haven't sent me anything. Can someone let me know how I can jump on board?

Thanks!
