i have suite download and i bought sessiondrums at a later date and i can't even upgrade to boxed at all, so i either have a full L9 suite purchase or a L9 + push purchase to choose from, or get suite 8 again for full retail price. O.o

Where are you all getting these upgrade prices? I used to get upgrade prices in the old store, but logged in to the new shop all I see are live 8 prices with free upgrade to live 9 when it comes out. Of course you need to pay! The free upgrade is only there so that new users don't have to wait several months to buy Live software. Otherwise they would pay now for Live 8 and be very upset when they'll need to pay again for the upgrade. If you already own Live 8 for - let's say - a couple of years...
