I would pick the AAS modeling collection over Reaktor without hesitation. I just like how AAS synths sound better than Reaktor. Reaktor has a more polished GUI, more ensembles, bigger userbase... but AAS stuff sounds soooo good. I have tried Reaktor a number of times, but the basic sound always leav...

I own Tracktion and Live. Tracktion has 64bit summing which some people claim, when summing many tracks, can, potentially, sound cleaner. Some have claimed they can hear the difference. Others say they can hear no difference. I am no technical sound expert, but reading various threads on the forums ...

The forum for every host has the discussion of which host sounds better than which other host. There have been all sorts of scientific tests. There have been thousands of subjective opinions. The discussion continues without any clear conclusion. I think that shows that the differences, if any, are ...

this issue (loss of the features quandry is talking about) opened up one of the core issues with this whole program ... which Angstrom summarized very well above: theres no way you can keep this program fully functional for all its intended purposes, if you are not willing to make the interface mor...

What Live could use is a pattern based arpeggiator (polyphonic). Which is a step sequencer that takes its root nate from playing notes, which would be the important difference from a midi clip. Yeah that would be nice to, I don't use arppeggios much since I useually edit them in manually, but it co...

Arpeggiator & Flam midi effect
I do not really like the arpeggiator in Live. Well, it is fun for some things, but what I want is a programmable pattern arpeggiator like in Zebra2 that is polyphonic (like Zebra2) Maybe this is similar to the interests of people asking for a step sequencer. Another midi effect - Flam - it would tak...

Random Midi Effect improvement
I would like the random midi effect to have more options than just pitch.
I would like it to be able to create random changes in cc data and with a range setting. Each note on would create a random change.
Maybe a couple options for random and random with weighting towards the center value
