Re: ok

Ok, maybe i should elaborate on the way I work, or wish to work. The thing is. I do a couple of things parallel. 1. I do solo blues stuff wich you can hear on myspace.com/bebenavole Wich will eventually take a form of me playing with just a drummer, or some loops. 2. I do regular pop-ish type of du...

Live 7 not responding to key commands after start up

Hi Abletonians, I've noticed something I didn't have with older versions of Live. After start up Live 7 does not respond to key commands like space bar>start and tab>change view. The mouse functions normally. Yes... Live is selected as the active program. I've discovered that I can use the 'Windows'...

Afraid you're right. :( I had to login to see this text: "Propellerhead Software is very happy to announce that we are now accepting testers for ReCycle 2.1.2 which will bring compa...

Still amazes me that Recycle hasn't had a single update in how many years and it still is essential kit. Not one new feature but it really doesn't matter - it does what it does. There's a beta 2.1.2 out. I'm still mourning that the props dropped hardware sampler support after 2.0. I use both versio...

If you only use Live and want to have sliced beats with midi files, you don't need Recycle. If you want to make rex-files to use in Reason or Cubase, Sonar etc, you still need Recycle. Live can't export rex-files. On the other hand you can use the Live slicer with any Rewired application such as Cub...

Real "solo in place". Means that you can solo a track which is is routed into another track without soloing this (group) track too or vice versa soloing a group (track) without soloing all the source tracks too. Yeah, this is the one I didn't know about until after I had already purchased 7. It was...

Hello Guy and Ltjam,

Thank you very much for listening and taking time to comment. Really appreciate it. The song used to be a lot heavier and I felt it would benefit from a more chillout feel. Seems I succeeded only partly...

Chill breaks with female vox

Hello Abletonians, This is my song Shelter. Composed and produced with Ableton Live 6, Halion, Access Virus Classic, Iblit and Yamaha A3000v2. Difficult to describe its genre: speeded up triphop with female vocals? Vocals were recorded with Emu 1802 Sound card and Rhode NT1 mic. Please let me know w...
