Re: Live for Live use?
That T-bone thing is for input via USB, not output. Note in the specs it mentions "a/d" - that's analog to digital, not the other way around.

Re: Mrs. Neb in the hospital with a life-threatening infection
I just saw this thread...been away for awhile & just started lurking again, and suddenly - OMFG! 8O Dude, I'm really glad that things got better for you guys. It was scary as hell just reading this - sorry y'all had to go through it, but I'm damn glad things seem to have gone OK. Continued blessings...

Never used that stuff, but it looks expensive. I've used ear bulbs & warm water for years. Cheap & re-usable, does the trick (and you don't have to do it several times a week, either). Just make sure you keep the bulb clean & dry when you're not using it. They're right about not using swabs - you ca...

Is it? I haven't really tested it, but some people have been saying otherwise... I do know that VoxPro, for instance, has about 20 dB of headroom built-in - that's why you can absolutely slam into it & not clip. (Once again...idiot-proofed!) Can we get an official word? Is there "built-in headroom"?...

All fun aside: I, for one, would welcome the option to choose whether my gain stage metering is true or "idiot-proofed". I find that artificially lowering the "clip" point is a bit like setting your alarm clock 10 minutes fast - you pretend that you're getting up later than you are, rather than actu...
