Thanks, but that works out about 70 miles.
So maybe there is no closer store than 50 miles...

Closest music store to Margaretville, New York?
Hi All, I have a friend at Margaretville, NY 12455 looking to pick up an APC. Can anyone tell me where the closest music store would be to that? I looked on line but they were all quite far so wondered if anyone might know somewhere closer than 50 miles. Thanks in advance, K Edit: Also, if anyone ca...

Re: apc 40 cue control as speeddial
Dom is right. I would add that setting this up (to 99%) is really easy with a program like AutoHotkey or Bome's MIDI Translator. The last 1% requires a touch sesitive knob like the one Novation use. I've done it with a Griffin PowerMate for a friend (before SpeedDial came out btw). Basically (with a...

xone 22 flight case?
Must have checked every case on Thonmann.
All too big or marginally too small.
The larger version of the 2 general purpose mixercaes is tall enough according to specs, but i have it and it aint.
Anyone know of a fitting case?

Re: Partition greyed-out in Disk Utility
Thanks for the ideas.
Unfortunately none of them worked.
The external doesn't even show up in Tech Tool Deluxe
Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
B

Re: Doing it yourself - MIDI Controllers
I built my own controller in 2005. I use it live every month and in the studio too on a daily basis. I couldn't do without it now. Always gets a lot of attention and yeah, the props are nice too :D There is a lot of information here: http://www.macrostructure.net/unitone.htm It took a long time and...

Re: Partition greyed-out in Disk Utility
Thanks for the reply Fishmonkey.
I'm sure DW is worth the $100, but it's 'one of those months' unfortunately.
So I'm gonna keep looking for a cheaper/free solution.
So if anyone else knows of a possible fix, I'd love to hear any suggestions.
Thanks,
B

Partition greyed-out in Disk Utility
Hi all, Have a problem with one of my external (USB) drives has a single partition. Somewhat * out of the blue it doesn't show on desktop or side bar. In Disk Utility the partition is listed but greyed out. (the listing for the drive itself is not greyed out... nor are any of the buttons associated ...

Re: Logic Upgrade pricing
LOL That was actually really funny :) I was hurriedly weighing up the value of the non-upgradeable educational version for 150euro. And assumed it was like Live in that u could only get the upgrade price by logging in to your Logic-8-owning account. Not sure how that calculated out coz I bought it i...

Logic Upgrade pricing
I know, wrong forum, but
how much are the upgrades (typically) from, say, Logic Pro 8 to Logic Pro 9?

Re: Novation LAUNCHPAD: new dedicated controller for Live!!!
Don't lknow much bout electronics (yet) so... for the pads to give 3 diff colours does that mean that there are 3 different LEDs for each pad? Or is it something like a single LED per pad being sent a different 'frequency'. In either case, how possible would it be to swap them out for LEDs that can ...

Re: Novation LAUNCHPAD: new dedicated controller for Live!!!
Looks very cool. Someone already mentioned this but I'm also concerned about whether I'll be able to see the difference between the non-red colours. My colour blindness is red-green type. The most common, I believe. It would be nice if this was considered more often in design considerations. Especia...
