question about warping

I use Live for DJing. When I warp a song the correct BPM is never calculated. Instead the clip is assumed to have whatever BPM the Live set is currently set to. The only workaround I ave found is to right-click on the start marker and select "warp from here". This is really time consuming. Anyone kn...

Re: recommend me a DJ mixer?

Can't believe nobody still haven't mentioned the Rane TTM56... the older one. Incredible faders and sound. The Nuo 2.0 is also pretty good, with the... Eternal fader. :D I do scratch a lot though. yeah i agree on the ttm56.. great faders, and even better with a innofader modification.. but yeah, i ...

Re: recommend me a DJ mixer?

pioneer djm400 - anything else is overkill for in the house Yeah the 400, Ecler2, Xone22, and the Vestax's are more like a price that I could buy soon. I didn't specify a budget coz i don't mind paying more if it is really worth it or necessary. Is there any reason for some of the more expensive su...

recommend me a DJ mixer?

Been DJing with Live but I'm switching to Pioneer CDJ 1000 MK3s. I have no experience with DJ mixers I need a DJ mixer mostly for practicing at home with the MK3s. But I'd like to be able to bring it to the occasional gig aswell so nothing mega flimsy. Would really appreciate recommendations / warni...

Re: Fake Pioneer CD decks?

Yeah I don't doubt that the site is a scam in one way or another.

But discussing it with a friend raised questions about replicas.

Anyone know how to spot one?

Fake Pioneer CD decks?

If i buy Pioneer CDJs on eBay (even if they are shiny new still sealed in box), how do I know they are not copies? I ask because I found this website recently and my only conclusion is that they must be replicas. According to a friend of mine, ANYTHING can be copied these days and it is big biz in A...

Re: Avoiding accidental double pressing on a MIDI controller?

Legato mode affects clip launch. not incoming MIDI notes as such.
If I read the top post correctly, then Legato Mode is exactly what u are looking for.
Search in the manual under Legato (pertaining to clip launch).

Re: iTunes just shat in my mouth (forgotten song info)

Update on this: Although I only have one copy of the xml file and "iTuens Library" file (on MBP internal drive), I had the actual music library ie all the MP3s on an external drive (Muso) in a folder called kTunesMusic. Theres also a folder called Sets and a folder called Samples. Then I have a clon...
