Re: Anyone using a M-Audio Radium 49?

Just wanted to post my experience one day in. Solid secondary keyboard. No aftertouch but if that's not a deal breaker, its a very sturdy bit of kit for a cheap price.

Re: Suggest a TINY sound interface

The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is pretty sleek and is the awesome baby brother to my 18i6. But at $150 it's above what I really want to spend on this. If it's any consolation I had the 18i6 before going to the 2i2. You're absolutely right that its sleek, and very portable. Same Pre's as well. You can u...

Re: Dj/producer, need to be a expert pianist?

I agree that you don't need to be a fantastic piano player. Sure, it'll help, but its just a part of the whole production experience. The most important thing IMO is to understand the importance of theory, even if you don't know it all off the top of your head. You don't need to be the best keyboard...

Anyone using a M-Audio Radium 49?

Anyone using an M-Audio Radium 49? I'm considering picking one up to use as a secondary keyboard, I'm currently using a Novation SLMKII presently as my primary. I'm curious about one thing though, tried searching but couldn't come up with anything definitive. One of the most convenient features of t...

Re: Opinion: Cheap Mic for recording vocals...

Thanks guys, a lot of good info here. Will review all the options and report back after I make a purchase and let you know how I'm making out.

Interesting to see a couple USB recommendations. Never really considered a USB mic as a serious piece of kit, maybe times are changing.

Opinion: Cheap Mic for recording vocals...

Title pretty much says it all... Looking for a cheap(ish) mic that will get the job done, nothing too fancy. Will be used mainly for recording vocals, but occasionally for sampling a few sounds as well. Currently using a Shure SM58, its decent, but looking for something more geared towards the studi...

Re: Live audio devices... some critique ...

also annoying that you can't split range(like 0-63 control this from 0-127 then 64-127 controls that from 1-127(or 127 to 1) you have to do all sorts of racking and crossfades to get a knob to act say as a 1 knob filter +1 If we had this type of functionality, it would make creating fx racks infini...
