if you own sampler, there is a nice and quick way to use rex files in ableton.
you can export soundfonts from recycle and then open these with sampler.
no need to import single wve files. if you want, you can export a midi file
together with the soundfont. Really fun with lives midi fx.

have fun

Load the simpler preset, than right-click on the simpler and choose simpler
to sampler, or something like that.

EIC is made for simpler, but you can convert every simpler into a sampler.

Good luck!

ok, reading your signature, you seem to have all you need, but i understand your Gearlust. As you have got a nice Computer and a nice Soundcard, you will get nothing which will bring forward your whole sound. I would keep the Oxygen, because it s just perfect for automapping Racks, which is just gre...

on PC, you can press alt + d and the "datei (german word) menu" opens, and you remain in full screen mode. You can use the arrow keys to navigate through the menu. Don t know if it works on mac, but try pressing alt + the first character of the menu you want to acess. If it s specially for rendering...

i would get it without the mod (maybe later...), just thought this might be a sign for quality that it is offered. I could get the mk 219 new for 99, nt1a for 169. What you said about noise doesn t sound good, cause i don t want to use my cheap eq for high pass and my recording environment isn t as ...

oktava mk 219

anybody who has experience with this mic? Seems to be a good one, even black lion audio offers a mod on it. I m thinking of getting this one or a rode nt1a or akg perception? What are your recommondations? It has to be a good alrounder because it will be my only mic. Mainly for male vocals and male ...

Perhaps the Wizoo Reverb? I think it can do alot, and it s not as expensive as the Waves Plugs. If you want it for Drums i wouldn t go for a convolution Reverb and also try something not so "natural". You could try Reverence from audio damage, cheap and nice sounding - but not like a real Room. Ther...

no, defenetly no other FX. It seems that it works when i set both my audiobuffer
and my plugin buffer to 1024samples, which seems weired to me because I
can t believe that impulse takes more recources than my other plugins.

and - especially for drums i need low latency, and 1024 is not good enough.

use simpler together with, lives FX, there should be enough to tweak, and it s all automateable. Or think of Live as a Sampler by itself. Use audiotracks instead of miditracks - place your samples as clips in the session view and assign them to keys. You can even assign them even to keyzones (look i...
