Re: Everyone is buying Beats, but still feeling my beyerdynamic.

Beats are not studio monitor headphones so will not represent your music accurately. You don't want headphones that lie to you, you want the most honest non-colouring ones you can get.

Yes very hot when under strain. Gaming is the most stress it will ever have to deal with. Audio wise my laptop is taking everything I'm throwing at it with ease.

Re: How much Sample Libraries do you use / recommend?

I have about 2 or 3 so far and like has been said, I just know where my best kicks are or where the best perc grooves are etc. No one pack has it all imo. I havent felt like I have too many samples yet but I do regularly clear out trash which I know I won't use. It's so easy to clog your library up ...

Re: Fabfilter Mastering Bundle Vs Live 9

Mate there is loads-the eq with analyser ala pro-q, the new filters in eq8. Then there is the graphic displays in the new compressor /gate ala pro-c/l.

I've heard the glue is a good alternative to psps vintage warmer?

Seems like live 9 is much better deal but i absolutely love fabfilter vests.

Fabfilter Mastering Bundle Vs Live 9

I have been waiting patiently for a sale for the mastering bundle from fabfilter to buy the EQ/Comp & Limiter.
With Live 9 do you think the EQ8, Glue Comp & new compressor will be as good if not better than the Fabfilter bundle? Bear in mind they will prob be the same price.

Re: Corner traps to reduce boominess

Before spending on acoustic treatment:

-Find the most symmetrical part of your room.
-Put your desk in a position of symmetry where it has a similar environment on both sides.
-Try to keep your speakers from being too close to any wall
