M4L Pluggo Spectral Filter vs Melodyne 4 spectral editing

Was just fiddling around with pluggo for live tools and its spectral filter. Was wondering if it is the same as or comparable to the spectral editing feature of Melodyne 4. Seems to me comparable although Melodyne 4 offers spectral editing for single notes . Does anybody has some experience with too...

Re: KOMPLETE ULTIMATE 11 TEASING

I think the main point of the Player versions is so you can still buy and use libraries but can’t edit them, although not all libraries are available for the player version. I have full versions of Kontakt and Reaktor but never edit any of the libraries so I can see how plenty of users would find t...

Re: KOMPLETE ULTIMATE 11 TEASING

What I'd really like to see is software that will easily remove outdated, broken, redundant, or unregistered NI software you have on your drive. For real, it took me ages to get rid of all that Kore crap on my desktop. Just did with Reaktor 6 Player: No edit function available, useless though. also...

Re: Windows 10 completely broke my computer down this week

That's indeed bad bahiviour of MS. But it was announced weeks before that it would happen like this. By the end of July I did a clean install of an Win8 - Win10 update. Also made images and backups of all data. Right now Win10 seems to be a stable running system on both maschines, laptop and desktop...

Re: Aria instrument midi track - no channel volume automation?

I've created an instance of Garritan Aria and added 5 MIDI tracks, each assigned to a different Aria channel. There's no problem playing the separate sounds assigned to each channel but when I try to automate channel volume control for a particular track in arrangement view, the only option I get i...

Re: Connection Kit APIKEY not saved

RadioOnMars wrote:(without looking at the patch) - aspects of saving can be covered by autopattr - have you looked at that? It decides whether to save the data for things like coll and dict with the patch.
ok, thanks, I'll check autopattr and give a feedback!

Connection Kit APIKEY not saved

Hi,

just tried to change API Key into my own darksky as described here:

https://github.com/Ableton/m4l-connecti ... /README.md

But the dictionary editor does not remeber my API Key and Latitude, Longitude values, although I saved them.

Any idea?

Thanks, Bastian

Re: Ableton vs Third Party Plugin

I have Komplete Ultimate 10. Is Pianoteq going to bring anything new to the table? Worth a $350 starting point? Yes, as every piano sounds different. But if you like it or not is a matter of how you like it and how you use it, genre of music, solo or in a mix with other instruments. With AL9 Suite,...

Re: Ableton vs Third Party Plugin

I'm thinking of upgrading and curious why there is so much talk of 3rd party plugin? The Suite version comes with a plethora of sounds. I'm looking for realistic acoustic and electric piano. I assume Ableton Suite has this covered? I found a hard time getting reviews of Ableton packs compared to Ko...

Re: RME Babyface Vs. UAD Apollo Duo Vs. Apogee Rosetta 200

Would go for a used Babyface one. Later try to get a 8 channel ADAT-Mic-Preamp to connect to the Babyface via ADAT. Love this combination: I have 10 channels micpre, long term supported RME drivers, digicheck tool plus a big knob on top it to handle Volume! Some people don't like the attached break-...

Thanks you. Even when working with way less instruments, I'll maybe check your rack!
(working with VSL stuff here).

Re: iPad

Garage Band update for iOS includes a clip-view loop-player.

Would call it a "Live" like fuction, but still interesting how Apple develops Garage Band.
