 lol at your misuse of english.

i assume you meant great as in being good, but your use of grate means to get on your nerves, that kind of idea. so is it hyped bullshit or does it get on your nerves!?!?!? :D

it sounds like you havent been using live for long, i may be wrong on this, because it sounds like you dont ge the jist of warping and thepossibiilities of what live can do in this situation. i dont understand the bit where you mention using the channel millisec and delay to get it in sync. if you w...

selecting a sound/sample/track into a specific channel

hi, i have tried the manual for this and couldnt find what i was looking for. is is possible to get a sample from lives browser into a particular channel without dragging? dbl-clicking seems to just open a new channel. i can drag easy enough, but when i use phatcontrollers dj template with a channel...

isnt a nonce a child molester? i think thats the case in the UK. a ponce is someone gay. fair enough admitting you're a nonce sparkelpuff, but you should be ashamed of being an accountant, thats just sick.

independent on the platform hes working on, the guy is one of the best, no argue bout that. must say however protentious some of these new projects are, richie hawtin himself always appears very modest in all these interviews. m_nus are wkd tho. mark houle has some amazing tracks ('techno vocals' i...

easy generic formula for this. havnt see the video, but this is how i do it. use a synth with 2/3 oscillators. i use the arp2600, but any synth can replicate this. osc 1: square wave, pitch one octave down (- 12 semitones) osc2: i like to use a saw to get a little fuzz, and pitch up 16 semitones (+...

if his name is any indication, he's 16 years old. fair enough, didnt mean to sound snappy. if you are looking for percussion and drum sounds, then i agree that the basic live sounds aren't fabulous. i would recommend grabbing some of your cd's (or mp3's), either hip hop ones or some soul ones if yo...

are you serious?

if you cant make hip hop in Live, you cant make hip-hop period.

think of having an unlimited amount of MPC's, which are easier to use, easier to sample from, and easier to program.

i would agree with what hambone said on this, and would rather warp the tracks myself so that i could figure out the best parts and sort of engineer a re-edit whilst warping. i use phatcontrollers dj template which has 3 launch-slots assigned per track, so i have four clips spaces. this means i can ...

Burial. most over rated electronic album ever. dubstep as a whole is majorly over-rated. seen it played at sonar 2 years ago, and imho it's not a club soundtrack. i quite like the burial album on the ipod, but i agree thats it's over-rated. wouldnt say its the most over rated electronic album there...

i use collect all once a track begins to take shape. As i use tan external HDD which gets a dump of files every so often it can be pretty annoying when going back to it to open an old live file which you then have to find all the samples. I have loads of files which are unusable because the samples ...
