what about the discount for the Intel users who bought the 5.2 upgrade? if i remember well, Ableton said that those users, when buying the live 6 upgrade get their money back from the 5.2 upgrade!

anyone from Ableton can reply?

in fact, i read somewhere that apple doesn't recommend defrag, because the system optimisation that happens everytime you install a application does the trick, plus the file system.. i'm no system freak anyway.. could be wrong

just tried that, the only difference was that the cpu meter oscillated a bit more (18% - 26%) during the slide
