Re: total novice to operator

You could also use good old Auto Filter for stabs, just automate the freq to get something moving.

I want to destroy everyone at Native Instruments because...

...their products clutter my boot partition with presets, common files, shared content etc. which cannot be moved to another partition. :( Seriously, their file management is a total mess, at least on Windows PCs...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...

Well as long as even no beta is released discussions about it are pointless (not from a marketing point of view though).

Hope it's not a kind of vaporware anyway.

Re: Skrillex Uses Ableton

Like his music or not, he seriously knows how to handle Live and the other stuff he uses (FM8, iZotope Trash, Ohmicide etc.)

This cannot be a serious question.

There is a world outside, you know...

Re: Skrillex Uses Ableton

Well that is far from a secret.

He used to use Fruity Loops, and in a lot of interviews he stated that he really digs Live.

Re: Where can I get a printed Live 8 reference manual?

It would help if they wouldn't use such a strange page format/layout, it really wastes a lot of paper when printing it (like I did).

Or at least if they would provide an E-Bookreader friendly format (or even HTML like Fruity or Reason), PDF just sucks bigtime.

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...

Hope they don't stick to this kind of Fruity Loops design.

If they (let me) switch the browser to the left and the mixer to the right I'll buy it. ;)

Re: Beginner mixing and Mastering

What kind of limiter are you using?

Because with a brickwall limiter (hence the name) you can crank up the volume (gain knob on the limiter) insanely without ever getting the infamous red signs (though it will sound terribly distorted at one point.)

Nothing wrong with it as long as it sounds good.

Leider ist dieses Video in Deutschland nicht verfügbar, da es Musik enthalten könnte, für die die GEMA die erforderlichen Musikrechte nicht eingeräumt hat.
Das tut uns leid.
