Seems very expensive for what it actually does. Ok, its all in one unit, that's pretty cool. But for a fraction of the total cost, you can get a couple of units seperately that do the same thing. I wouldn't buy it unless it was 250/$500. But I priced up the Zero-8 and it was £1000 !!! You can get so...

The Pocket Pod is nothing more than a line-level DI converting guitar to USB WRONG! You don't even need a computer to use the damn thing. You can plug in headphones or plug it into the fx loop of an amp if you wish to. It doesn't require the USB at all to get sounds out of it. I'd get the Microcube...

switching tracks for a midi controller...

Lets say your controller has 8 sliders and 8 knobs. Perfect for 8 volume controls and 8 pan controls. Now, on your Live set you may have 20 tracks (for instance) Is there anyway that, at the push of a button, you can get those 8 sliders and 8 knobs to correspond to 8-track groups. Like 1-8, then pus...

Erm.... maybe I'm an idiot... but why not just work at the same sample rate throughout the whole process, ie: 44.1khz.

Correct. With an external mixer, you can control the audio signals. But not the actual software.

Those people are fucking idiots. They should be forced to witness a shovel bashed to the head of their newborn child, and then they should all be thrown into davey jones' locker.

Not really for me and 10,000,000 other producers world wide. Maybe if I were doing classical/jazz pieces or scoring a drama. But for Rock, Pop, Industrial, Techno, hiphop etc automating the time signature is totally irrelevant and wouldnt be used 99.999% of the time. So for me, not a "shame" at all...
