Re: looking for a master bus solution

Its crazy once you get back into Ableton that it really does operate in a certain paradigm. Sure, it has Push and heaps of great instruments and effects But then theres these funny little situations My 2c: Track Macro’s should apoear in the Channel strip, like Sends. They could be hidden like everyt...

Re: looking for a master bus solution

i guess i am thinking something akin to Elektron's performance page on the Analog Four.

You can map something to any of your tracks to any one knob, and so on for the 8 knobs.

is there a 'performance page' for Ableton Live or have i just been in the Elektron world for too long...

looking for a master bus solution

sometimes when i'm using live i can't help but feel i want 'global' control over certain settings. send fx are one thing... but do you wish certain controls were available in the channel strip that accessed your various parameters in your device chain? maybe i'm missing something... how can i access...

Re: 10 is announced!

The note chase thing, i remember a nice DeSantis tip from a few years back, to essentially latch a note or chord within the clip loop brace, creating an infinite note. Really nice trick for long drones and stuff like that. Will this new chase feature impact this technique? Triggering the note again ...

Re: Recordings folder should be in the Project Folder

Ok.

I don't have a central samples folder. I use things from other Ableton sets mainly.

I still think there's room for a preference that takes care of all of this.

Re: Recordings folder should be in the Project Folder

Perhaps my problem is import, not recording.

Are imported files automatically copied to a project?

Recordings folder should be in the Project Folder

It's been a while since I've posted here but I've ran into a problem which I find frustrating. The 'Live Recordings' folder should be in the Project folder, not just some generic bin where everything goes from anything you do in Ableton. The Collect All & Save function is a process which brings samp...

Re: New Macbook Pro

Would be interesting to see if the Abe's did anything with it, no?

What would be a good use of touch bar?

Clip Launcher?

Clip view?

Arrangement view?

Re: New Macbook Pro

New Mac laptop models always attract a premium. Next revision with processor refresh and price drop will be the sweet spot. This current deal is a bit too much to swallow.

Re: New Macbook Pro Question?

Reviews should be out this week and you should get the stats you need. As long as the wait has been I'm considering waiting for the next refresh which hopefully comes sooner rather than later.

Setting encoder/fader max values for push?

Was playing live the ither day, actuslly the first time with push, and i realised i needed param max values for the volume faders. Just like in midi mappibg, you could set a track fader to a max of -3db, to avoid clipping in a live context. Is a way to set things like this in push 2?

sending global quantization midi cc/note out

hey guys, im making an audio-visual project one of the things i'm wondering, if i have a midi controller set to launch a scene (or ableton push for that matter) - is there a way i can send that same midi cc / note message out, but on the beat of the global quantisation? for instance if i launch a sc...
